Department of Education Victoria in Seymour is seeking an Education Support/Classroom Assistant for the Seymour Flexible Learning Centre. The role focuses on coordinating student routines, supporting teachers, and facilitating learning for disengaged students in a flexible learning environment.

Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Provides routine support for teachers including assisting with planning of student routines.
• Supports communication between teachers and parents.
• Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students and/or other responsibilities.
• Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students such as toileting, meals, and lifting.
• Coordinating rostering and organization of aides and supporting educational programs.
• Liaises with external providers of support services about clearly defined support needs and resources.
