Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking a current student for a Junior Quality Engineer / Tester role in Ballarat. You’ll gain hands-on experience in testing fundamentals, manual testing of UI features, and basic automation concepts while continuing your degree.

You’ll work with mentors across quality engineering, developers, and designers, and you’ll be on-site three days a week, with October 2026 start date and Australian citizens required for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in IT/engineering/software degree with at least 12 months of studies remaining.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn testing, QA, and automation concepts.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases to verify features meet requirements.
• Perform manual UI testing and learn QA standards.
• Document and report bugs using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Explore automation and performance testing concepts.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and designers.
