Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Wellbeing & Events Coordinator for our Canberra student accommodation site. You will design and deliver a vibrant calendar of social, educational, and wellbeing programs while supporting Community Assistants to deliver outstanding service across the property.

You will collaborate with the Community Manager and onsite teams to foster an inclusive residential community, build local partnerships, and ensure residents feel supported, connected, and safe during their stay.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, hospitality, community engagement, or student accommodation.
• Strong organisational and operational discipline with a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of inclusive, high-quality events and wellbeing programs that reflect resident needs and enhance community life.
• Oversee, schedule, and guide Community Assistants, ensuring strong coverage across front-of-house, events, and operational support.
• Manage full event logistics end-to-end; including planning, risk assessments, vendor coordination, budgeting, delivery, and evaluation.
• Build partnerships with local businesses, universities, and community organisations to expand resident experience and wellbeing support.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, incident management, and operational policies while capturing content and insights to support marketing and reporting.
