Job summary

Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College, part of Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation, has multiple Student Learning/Classroom Support Officer roles for 2027. The role focuses on inclusive learning, supporting students and staff, and ensuring access to resources for student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• Contemporary understanding of the education setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of social and emotional needs of students.
• First aid and CPR certificate.
• NSW Working with Children Check.
• Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider relevance of outcomes).
• Laboratory Technician experience in a previous support role.

Responsibilities

• Support seamless classroom integration and inclusive learning environments.
• Work closely with students and staff to nurture individual student growth.
• Assist teachers with resources and student accommodations as needed.
• Contribute to a safe, supportive and Christian school community.
