Job summary

St Francis Xavier College in Melbourne seeks a casual Student Activities Supervisor to support college leadership in supervising and guiding students, including in the canteen, health space and Learning Resources Centre.

The role emphasises safety, pastoral care and discreet handling of incidents, with opportunities to contribute to school life across campuses and events. The successful applicant will work with minimal supervision and complete mandatory child safety training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide support to all students in their care.
• Escalate issues of concern to the relevant College Activities Leader.
• Work in small and large groups with students under direction.
• Pastoral care during night hours and first aid matters as needed.
• Ensure Occupational Health and Safety standards are met.
• Other duties including hospitality kitchen, canteen, health space, and Learning Resources Centre.
