Job summary

1Recruit International is seeking a Structures Foreman to lead the structural delivery on a luxury high-rise development in Brisbane. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will oversee formwork, reinforcement, concrete, post-tensioning and structural steel works, driving sequencing, productivity and safety across the project through to topping out.

The successful candidate will have extensive high-rise concrete experience, strong subcontractor management, and a solid understanding of drawings, QA

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Structures Foreman / Structures Supervisor
• Strong high-rise or multi-storey concrete construction experience
• Demonstrated capability across formwork, reinforcement, concrete and post-tensioning
• Proven ability to drive floor cycles and demanding structural programmes
• Strong subcontractor management and site leadership skills
• Sound understanding of structural drawings, QA, safety and construction sequencing
• High-rise residential experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead formwork, reinforcement, concrete, post-tensioning and structural steel works
• Drive structural sequencing, floor cycles, programme and productivity
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, materials and tower crane activities
• Manage structural inspections, ITPs, hold points, concrete pours and QA
• Ensure compliance with drawings, engineering specifications and tolerances
• Maintain strong WHS standards across all structural activities
• Coordinate structural interfaces with façade, services and finishing trades
• Resolve technical, constructability and sequencing issues with engineers and consultants
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship and programme
• Take ownership of the structure through to topping out and handover to following trades

STRUCTURES FOREMAN | HIGH RISE |BRISBANE

• Major Australian contractor with a substantial forward Brisbane project pipeline

One of Australia's largest and most established privately owned construction groups, with a history spanning more than a century and an exceptional portfolio of landmark projects, is seeking an experienced Structures Foreman to join its Brisbane delivery team on a major A$280M+ luxury high-rise residential development at Yeerongpilly Green, Brisbane. Currently under construction, the project comprises a 25-storey tower with 181 luxury apartments, extensive resident amenities, landscaped areas and 407 car spaces. The development is scheduled through to 2029.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, you will take ownership of structural delivery, including:

• Lead formwork, reinforcement, concrete, post-tensioning and structural steel works
• Drive structural sequencing, floor cycles, programme and productivity
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant, materials and tower crane activities
