Job summary

Atlas Frames is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer/Architectural, Building and Surveying Technician for an immediate start. The role is based in Brendale, Queensland, with a full-time schedule of 38 hours per week.

The position offers an initial salary from AUD 79,500 plus superannuation, with responsibilities including preparing detailed steel framing drawings and supporting fabrication across projects. Immediate start is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma Level Qualification.
• At least 1 year of full-time work experience in steel detailing.
• Experience with interpreting architectural drawings and engineering documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise detailed steel framing drawings, layouts and fabrication documentation.
• Interpret architectural drawings, building specifications and engineering documents.
• Develop and modify steel frame layouts and detailing to meet project requirements.
• Review drawings to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance before manufacturing.
