Job summary

Atlas Frames is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer/Architectural, Building and Surveying Technician for an immediate start. The role is based in Brendale, Queensland, with a full-time schedule of 38 hours per week.

The position offers an initial salary from AUD 79,500 plus superannuation, with responsibilities including preparing detailed steel framing drawings and supporting fabrication across projects. Immediate start is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or Diploma Level Qualification.
• At least 1 year of full-time work experience in steel detailing.
• Experience with interpreting architectural drawings and engineering documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job description

Atlas Frames are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Detailer Architectural, Building and Surveying Technician for an immediate start.

This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Brendale.

Salary: From $79,500 + superannuation

The Structural Steel Detailer will be responsible for the following main duties:

·Prepare and revise detailed steel framing drawings, layouts and fabrication

documentation from architectural and engineering plans, specifying dimensions,

member locations and relevant construction details to support accurate

manufacture and installation of prefabricated steel framing systems.

· Assisting with the interpretation of architectural drawings, building specifications

and engineering documentation.

· Developing and modifying steel frame layouts and detailing to meet project

requirements.

· Reviewing drawings and specifications to identify potential discrepancies and

ensure technical requirements are addressed before manufacturing.

· Providing technical support to the manufacturing team to ensure steel frames are produced in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications. construction projects.

Prepare and modify project documentation in accordance with design requirements and relevant building standards.
