Job summary

Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Support Engineer to plan and perform civil works on a FIFO mining project.

Based on a 2/1 roster from Perth, you will apply sound engineering judgment and coordinate with site teams to ensure works are built to specification. Responsibilities

About the role

A Construction Support Engineer plans and performs work requiring sound engineering judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of assignments. As a fully competent Construction Support Engineer, applies diversified knowledge of construction and technical principles, practices, and methods for a range of assignments requiring knowledge and experience with advanced methods, techniques, and procedures. May implement and execute Construction support activities on large to mega sized projects worldwide. On the largest projects the Construction Support Engineer V may function as the "lead" for construction support activities. This position has developed a working knowledge in one or more specific construction disciplines.

This position is based on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth.

Duties and responsibilities

• Support the delivery of civil works on a FIFO mining project
• Assist supervisors with day‑to‑day site engineering tasks
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and client teams
• Check drawings and ensure works are built to specification
• Track progress, materials, and site activities
• Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards on site
• Complete basic reporting and project documentation

Skills and experience required

• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering field of study and twelve (12) years* of work‑related experience; a recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field, if required; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner
