The Constructive Collective is seeking a qualified Structural Engineer in Sydney. You will design temporary works, prepare calculations, and provide technical guidance to contractors and site teams. The role requires a solid grasp of Australian Standards and a hands-on, practical engineering approach.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in structural engineering, ideally within temporary works, crane foundations, or construction engineering.
• Solid understanding of Australian Standards and structural design principles.
• Experience preparing engineering calculations, reports, and documentation.
• Confidence working with builders, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Design temporary works including crane bases, pile footings, shoring, and back-propping systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, reports, and engineering documentation.
• Work closely with contractors and site teams to deliver practical engineering solutions.
• Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice during construction.
• Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and project requirements.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project teams.
• Contribute to a variety of projects from concept through to construction.
