Job summary

Aspect Personnel is seeking a Structural Engineer for a full-time role at a medium-sized engineering consultancy in Victoria. You will perform design and analysis, coordinate with architects and other disciplines, and conduct site inspections on diverse projects valued from $5M to $500M.

Reporting to an Associate Director, the role emphasizes timely delivery and clear client communication, with a salary up to $110,000 plus ongoing training and support to achieve Professional Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Experience as Structural Design Engineer on building projects in a consulting environment.
• Familiarity with design and analysis of steel and concrete framed structures.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, team members and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and analysis in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate work with other disciplines (architectural, mechanical, electrical) and attend project meetings.
• Complete site inspections and record field conditions; oversee project through construction phase.
• Organise and coordinate technical documents.
• Coordinate and direct drafters as required.
