Our client is a growing structural engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to take on a senior role across structural design, project delivery, technical leadership and client engagement.
The Senior Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and delivery of industrial and commercial projects, with a strong focus on structural steel structures, reinforced concrete elements and precast concrete.
You will be involved across the full project lifecycle, from concept and tender design through to detailed design and construction support. The role will involve coordinating engineering activities with drafters and project teams, liaising with architects, builders, fabricators and consultants, and providing technical advice throughout project delivery.
The role will suit an experienced Structural Engineer with strong design capabilities, sound knowledge of Australian Standards and the NCC, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while providing technical leadership and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Senior Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for undertaking technical reviews, coordinating engineering and drafting resources, attending project and client meetings, providing technical advice, undertaking site inspections and assessments, responding to RFIs and contractor queries, and supporting the successful delivery of projects.
