Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Structural Drafter to join a collaborative structural engineering team in Sydney. You will produce detailed structural drawings, collaborate with engineers, and contribute from design through construction on diverse commercial and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Structural Drafter within a structural engineering consultancy.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, with experience producing structural models and documentation.
• Experience working across commercial and/or industrial building projects.
• Knowledge of structural steel and reinforced concrete detailing.
• The ability to interpret engineering designs and translate them into accurate construction documentation.
• An understanding of Australian Standards and structural drafting practices.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Prepare structural models, general arrangement drawings and detailed documentation for commercial and industrial projects.
• Develop structural steel and reinforced concrete drawings.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to interpret designs, sketches and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate structural models and drawings with architectural and other consultant documentation.
• Manage drawing revisions and incorporate design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications, quality standards and relevant Australian Standards.
• Deliver accurate documentation within agreed project deadlines.
