Job summary

Duffy Kennedy Constructions in Miranda, NSW is seeking a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team for full-time, on-site work. You will prepare detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, interpret calculations, and support project managers and site teams through accurate drafting documentation.

You will work closely with engineers and construction personnel on residential, commercial, and multi-storey projects, ensuring drawings reflect design changes and site

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Engineering Drafting, Architectural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil or structural drafting, preferably in building construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar drafting software.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, construction methods and technical drawing standards.
• Experience preparing detailed drawings for residential, commercial or multi-storey building projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and amend detailed civil and structural engineering drawings using AutoCAD, Revit or other relevant drafting software.
• Produce technical drawings for earthworks, drainage systems, foundations, reinforced concrete elements and other construction components.
• Interpret engineering calculations, design specifications and sketches to develop accurate construction drawings.
• Review and update drawings to reflect design changes and site conditions.
• Conduct site visits to verify construction details and assist with revisions.
• Liaise with engineers, estimators, project managers and subcontractors to meet project requirements and standards.
