Job summary

Chairo Christian School in Melbourne’s Gippsland region seeks a dedicated Strings Instrumental Music Tutor (Violin or Viola) for our Pakenham campus on a part-time basis. You will provide individual tutoring from preliminary to VCE and assist the Music teacher with the Year 2 strings program.

Applicants should have relevant qualifications and experience, a commitment to our faith-based community, strong communication, and the ability to create an engaging teaching environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
• Experience preparing students for AMEB and VCE exams essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual tutoring for preliminary through to VCE students.
• Support the Music teacher with delivery of the Year 2 strings program.
• For the right candidate, there is potential to take on Strings Coordinator responsibilities.
