Job summary

Clarence Valley Council currently seeks a hands-on Maintenance/Landscaping worker to perform landscaping, construction, gardening, general maintenance and cleaning across multiple spaces and assets. Duties cover parks, beaches, nature reserves, skate areas and public amenities within the region.

You will bring a Certificate II in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, plus a current Class C Driver's Licence and White Card. A safety-first mindset and WHS compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in a relevant discipline (carpentry, plumbing, landscaping, building construction) or relevant industry experience.
• Experience in a similar role, including maintenance of parks and assets.
• A current Class C Driver's Licence and a General Construction Induction (White Card).
• A safety-first approach, with a strong commitment to following WHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of landscaping, construction, gardening, general maintenance and cleaning tasks across many different spaces, facilities and assets.
• Work across diverse spaces—from town centre footpaths to nature reserves, parks, beaches and public amenities.
