Job summary

Inner West Council seeks a Team Member Landscape Services to maintain and improve council streetscapes across the Inner West. You will be part of a hands-on team, delivering day-to-day landscaping tasks under the Team Leader, with a focus on safety and quality in public spaces.

This is an outdoor, practical role involving planting, mulching, mowing, weed management and garden upkeep, requiring reliability, safety focus, and willingness to learn landscaping and horticulture skills.

Qualifications

• Horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to learn to use field devices (e.g. tablets) for team work plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read maps and schedules.
• Hold NSW Class C Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve council streetscapes in public spaces.
• Planting, mulching, mowing, weed management and garden maintenance.
• Work safely and to Council standards; contribute to team goals.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders and respond to community needs.
