Job summary

Service Stream in Clayton, Victoria, is seeking experienced Street Sweeper Operators to join our team. The role requires operating a street sweeper with a valid MR licence, completing paperwork, and adhering to safety and quality standards on roads and sites.

You will perform pre-start checks, record works data, and participate in daily meetings. Mostly night shift, with day shifts and weekend on-call as needed. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating street sweepers on roads and sites.
• MR licence is mandatory and current.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work with minimal supervision.
• Capable of recording field data accurately.
• Able to decipher maps and complete paperwork.
• Willing to work night shifts, with dayshift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate street sweeper vehicles in line with job instructions.
• Complete paperwork and data records in the field.
• Perform pre-start and end-of-shift checks and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices.
• Report hazards/defects to Team Leader and contribute to continuous improvement.

The successful applicant is required to operate a street sweeper vehicle (valid minimum MR licence required), complete paperwork and forms, possess mechanical aptitude, able to decipher maps, perform labouring duties and use hand tools.This is a full-time role under the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement with a monthly RDO provided.
