Job summary

Service Stream is accepting applications for Street Sweeper Operators in Clayton, VIC. The role requires operating a street sweeper vehicle, completing paperwork, and applying a strong safety focus. You should have an MR licence and be able to work under day, afternoon and night shift rosters.

This is a full-time position under the Enterprise Bargaining Agreement with a monthly RDO. The successful candidate will join a team focused on safe, efficient operations and precise data recording on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum MR licence to operate a street sweeper.
• Experience operating street sweepers on freeways/arterial roads preferred.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Must have previous experience operating street sweepers
• Ensuring all tools, vehicles and equipment are used correctly, maintained safely, and hazards/defects reported
• Completing shut-down and end-of-day cleaning for the street sweeper
• Maintaining safety, quality and efficiency in all works
• Recording works-related data in the field per work instructions
• Participating in daily pre-start and shift-close meetings to improve safety and efficiency
