Merri-bek City Council is hiring for a full-time Street Cleansing Operator. The role covers cleaning streets, parks, and public spaces across the municipality with a 35-hour week and a fortnightly rostered day off. Training across equipment will be provided and there is regular overtime for weekend programs.

You will work in a dynamic team, liaising with the community and contributing to a top-standard municipal cleansing service. This role offers flexible hybrid options and employee benefits.

Formación

• Current Victorian drivers licence with Medium Rigid endorsement.
• Experience driving trucks in built-up areas and operating small plant/equipment.
• Experience delivering high standards of street cleansing or related maintenance.
• Working with Children Check is required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate street cleaning across the municipality using street sweepers and related vehicles.
• Assist in maintaining parks, rights of way, car parks and footpaths to a high standard.
• Complete training for equipment and participate in regular overtime for weekend programs.
• Collaborate with team to deliver council street cleansing services.
