Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Street Cleaning Operator to join the Street Cleaning team, sweeping roadsides, bus shelters and public spaces. You will operate and maintain mobile plant and equipment, respond to requests and complete daily run sheets to track work.

This permanent full-time role offers stability, an entry level salary from 1,310.20 per week, a rostered day off every fortnight, 12% superannuation, training and wellbeing programs, and access to Fitness Passport.

Qualifications

• Experience in street cleaning, waste collection or a similar field is highly regarded.
• Able to work independently and contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep roadsides, bus shelters and public spaces as part of the street cleaning team.
• Operate and maintain mobile plant and equipment.
• Respond to customer requests and complete daily run sheets to track work.
