Job summary

Little Zak's Academy in Strathfield is seeking a full-time Certificate III Educator to join our nurturing centre. You will facilitate learning experiences for a group of children and work within a collaborative teaching environment.

The role requires a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, availability Monday to Friday on a rotating roster, and knowledge of the National Quality Framework including EYLF.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on a rotating roster.
• Solid understanding of child development and learning in early years.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children.
• Be part of a collaborative teaching environment.
• Maintain communications with parents throughout the service.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.

About you

• Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education
• Must be available Monday to Friday on a rotating roster
• Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Nurture authentic connections with our children and families through interaction, curriculum and documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Current Working with Children Check
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
