Job summary

MercyCare in Western Australia is seeking a dedicated WHS professional to join our team, contributing to the strategic direction of workplace health and safety. You will partner with leaders to provide practical advice, coaching and support on incident investigations, inspections, risk assessments and legislative compliance.

You will help embed safety into everyday decisions, shape WHS priorities, use data trends to inform actions, and lead end-to-end improvement projects across diverse services

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Strong reporting and data management skills with experience in research and analysis.
• Drivers Licence.
• National Police Clearance obtained within last six months.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical WHS advice across incident investigations, inspections, risk assessments and hazard management.
• Partner with leaders to embed safety into everyday decision making.
• Support planning and improvement initiatives using data and trends to inform decisions.
