Job summary

DP World Australia seeks a Vessel Planner to join the Customer Care Centre, based in Port Botany NSW. You will provide national vessel planning across major terminal operations, ensuring optimised vessel scheduling and exceptional stakeholder engagement with internal teams and external customers.

This permanent full-time role requires working across Monday to Sunday, with duties spanning coordination, reporting, and continuous improvement of planning processes.

Qualifications

• Formal maritime qualifications preferred.
• Understanding of vessel operations including coordination and scheduling.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide national vessel planning across DP World Australia’s major terminal operations.
• Maintain optimised vessel scheduling and high service standards.
• Act as liaison between terminal operations and stowage planning teams.
• Develop partnerships with internal and external customers to improve service.
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of trade dynamics and vessel requirements.
