Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an experienced Transport Scheduler in the Ingleburn area to coordinate daily transport plans and optimise fleet utilisation. The role requires collaboration with transport partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.

You will develop schedules, monitor performance, and maintain accurate records in SAP TMS while supporting route optimisation and compliance with CoR and WHSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport scheduling or planning within a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and transport compliance requirements.
• Experience with transport management systems, SAP TMS is highly regarded.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement daily transport plans aligned with operational requirements and customer demands.
• Allocate loads and delivery schedules to transport providers to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
• Monitor transport activities and adjust schedules to delays and disruptions.
• Liaise with partners, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Track performance: route efficiency, vehicle utilisation and service levels.
• Maintain scheduling records within SAP TMS and support continuous improvement.
