Transport for NSW is seeking a Policy Officer for a temporary opportunity at Sydney International Airport, NSW. The role covers strategic policy reform across passenger transport, taxis, rideshare, and urban policy initiatives.

You will draft briefs, papers and submissions while building strong relationships with councils and government agencies. The position is a fixed-term full-time role with a temporary duration up to 19 months, located in Sydney, NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting strategic policy reforms aligned with legislative requirements and government priorities.
• Experience engaging a diverse range of stakeholders (state government, councils, industry, community).
• Ability to provide advice to various stakeholders and work autonomously or collaboratively.
• Policy experience in land use planning or transport sectors is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support strategic policy and regulatory reforms related to passenger transport, point-to-point transport, e-micromobility and related urban policy initiatives.
• Draft discussion papers, Ministerial briefs, presentations and submissions.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to enable collaborative policy development with councils, state government agencies and internal Transport divisions.
