Job summary

Bank Australia is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support sourcing, supplier management and procurement services across the Bank. The role contributes to sustainability initiatives and governance programs while supporting day-to-day operations.

You will partner with internal stakeholders, manage supplier data, and coordinate reporting on sustainability, modern slavery, and regulatory requirements, including fleet management for the Bank’s vehicle portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, fleet management, or related operational support.
• Strong attention to detail with data, reporting and documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and customer service mindset.
• Organisational and problem-solving abilities; ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders across the Bank to deliver sourcing and procurement support, guidance on approved suppliers, procurement pathways and sustainable sourcing options.
• Support supplier governance and administration activities, including supplier onboarding, invoice verification, record management and maintenance of supplier data.
• Coordinate sustainability, modern slavery and regulatory reporting requirements, including supplier risk assessments, data collection and compliance reporting.
• Manage the Bank's vehicle fleet, overseeing compliance, insurance claims, repairs, reporting and cost-effective fleet operations.
• Contribute to Procurement & Infrastructure team initiatives, including First Nations procurement, travel management, policy maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
