Job summary

NSW Treasury is seeking a Solutions Architect for Information Technology and Asset Services in Sydney CBD with flexible working options. This temporary 2-year role offers a remuneration package of AUD 154,231–178,369 plus superannuation and leave loading.

The successful candidate will lead architectural governance, review complex designs, and develop standards and roadmaps while aligning with public sector policies and enterprise architecture frameworks. Applications close 12 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, integration and data domains.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and solution design methodologies.
• Experience supporting Architecture Review Boards and governance processes.
• Ability to balance delivery with cyber security, privacy and government compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural governance and solution design assurance across Treasury's initiatives.
• Review and guide solution designs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop architecture standards, reference architectures and roadmaps.
• Advise governance forums and senior leaders on technology investments.
