Job summary

NSW Treasury is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead architectural governance and design assurance for a diverse IT portfolio. You will review designs across cloud, infrastructure, application, integration and data domains and guide project teams through the lifecycle, ensuring security, scalability and reusability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering complex enterprise technology solutions across cloud, infrastructure, application, integration and data domains.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, architecture principles and road mapping.
• Experience developing architectural artefacts such as solution designs, diagrams and reference architectures.
• Experience supporting Architecture Review Boards and governance processes.
• Experience with digital transformation, cloud adoption and technology modernisation in large organisations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural governance and solution design assurance across initiatives.
• Review and guide solution designs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying risks and managing technical debt.
• Develop architecture standards, reference architectures, roadmaps and transition plans.
• Provide advice to governance forums and senior leaders on technology investments and direction.
• Balance delivery with governance, cyber security, privacy and cost considerations.
