EY-Parthenon is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Financial Services Strategy team in Australia. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you will work on high-impact engagements for C-suite leaders across banking, capital markets, asset management, wealth management, and insurance, contributing to merger assessments, strategic options, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance and at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience developing or supporting corporate strategy in Financial Services (banking, capital markets, payments, insurance, wealth management and/or asset management)...
• Advanced problem-solving skills, curiosity and creative thinking.
• Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, with the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in delivering high-quality reports and presentations.
• Strong interest in AI and technological change, with demonstrated ability to use generative AI tools effectively in a professional context.
• Adept at building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Responsabilités

• Serve as a key member on client engagement teams, supporting the team in advising clients on complex strategy issues across the financial services sector.
• Contribute to the development of hypotheses and analyses, translating client needs into structured project tasks and high-quality outputs.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic implications.
• Support the development of high-impact reports and presentations, synthesising findings into practical recommendations.
