Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Sydney is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the Valuation Modelling and Economics (VME) team. You will advise clients on valuation matters across transactions, portfolio assessment, restructuring and strategic planning.

You will support valuations for transactions, tax planning and financial reporting, developing detailed models and conducting industry benchmarking. Hybrid role based in Warrang - Sydney, with opportunities to collaborate globally.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and approximately 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
• A degree in finance, economics, accounting or business with quantitative/qualitative analysis aptitude.
• Direct experience using valuation techniques (cost of capital, market comparables, DCF).
• Experience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferred.
• Experience conducting valuations for accounting or tax planning is desirable.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work within project teams to undertake valuations of businesses, equity interests, financial instruments and intangible assets.
• Support the delivery of valuation projects with models, reports and market analyses.
• Train and support junior team members to build technical capabilities and collaboration.
