• Create a shared vision and set school goals with clear expectations.
• Manage teaching quality and foster a culture of challenge, support and collaboration.
• Produce and implement evidence-based improvement plans and lead innovation and change.
• Ensure efficient allocation of staff, facilities and finances.
• Build a professional learning community focused on continuous improvement of teaching and learning.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families and the local community.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of education for all students.
• Act as executive officer of the school council and provide advice on educational matters.
• Ensure decisions of the school council are implemented and supported with resources.
• Represent the Department and school in the community and system-wide activities.
• Establish and manage financial systems and human, physical and material resources.
• Involve staff, students and community in policy development, implementation and review.
• Report on achievements of the school and students as appropriate.
