Role – Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Scheduling Lead to join a high-performing Enterprise PMO and take ownership of enterprise-level scheduling across a large and complex transformation portfolio.

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated master plans, managing cross-program dependencies, and providing strategic scheduling insights that support investment decisions and delivery outcomes. You will work closely with senior executives, portfolio leaders and program teams to establish a single enterprise view of delivery timelines, risks, dependencies and constraints.

This role is ideal for a senior scheduling professional who can think beyond individual project schedules, taking an enterprise-wide perspective to improve planning, prioritisation and delivery confidence across major initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise Integrated Master Plans (IMPs) across major transformation initiatives
• Establish and maintain a consolidated view of schedules, dependencies, milestones and delivery sequencing across portfolios
• Drive enterprise-wide scheduling standards, governance frameworks and planning methodologies
• Provide strategic schedule insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Support investment planning, prioritisation and portfolio decision-making through scheduling analysis
• Lead the development of realistic and risk-informed schedules for business cases and major initiatives
• Identify, assess and manage cross-program and cross-portfolio dependencies
• Embed schedule risk analysis and modelling practices into planning activities
• Ensure alignment between strategic planning, business cases and delivery plans
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of master schedulers and scheduling professionals
• Build organisational capability in integrated planning, forecasting and dependency management

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in strategic or enterprise-level scheduling within large and complex organisations
• Proven leadership experience managing scheduling, planning or project controls teams
• Strong expertise in Integrated Master Planning (IMP) and dependency management
• Experience developing and managing enterprise-wide schedules across multiple programs and portfolios
• Advanced knowledge of schedule risk analysis, forecasting and modelling techniques
• Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
• Strong understanding of portfolio, program and project management methodologies including PMBoK, Agile and MSP
• Experience providing executive-level reporting and strategic scheduling insights
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to translate complex scheduling and portfolio information into actionable business insights

Qualifications & Clearance

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Professional scheduling or project management certifications highly regarded
• Experience within large enterprise, infrastructure, aviation, government or transformation environments will be highly regarded
• Experience with schedule risk modelling and quantitative analysis tools is advantageous
