Job summary

Water Corporation is seeking a Scheduling & Cost Analyst to provide project controls support across a portfolio of Operational Technology projects. You will help Project Managers forecast, monitor schedules, and deliver insights to improve outcomes.

The role requires strong experience with project scheduling, cashflow forecasting, and performance reporting, using Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP PS. A related qualification and stakeholder skills are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, forecasting, and project controls within a capital project environment.
• Strong experience reviewing and analysing project schedules, forecasts, and project performance information to identify risks, issues, variances, and opportunities.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project for schedule analysis, dependencies, and forecasting.
• Experience in cost control, cashflow forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical skills translating data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of project controls governance and reporting frameworks.
• Experience with SAP PS and standard PM/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Project Controls support across a portfolio of 30+ projects with scheduling, forecasting, and reporting focus.
• Review and analyse schedules in Primavera P6 and MS Project to validate logic, milestones and delivery plans.
• Review cashflows/forecasts ensuring alignment with budgets and commitments.
• Monitor performance, identify schedule impacts, delays, and forecast variances.
• Prepare and present project controls reporting including EVM and progress updates.
• Advise Project Managers to improve forecast accuracy and manage delivery risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of controls processes and reporting tools.
• Support procurement and contract administration activities.
