Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to provide commercial oversight for the ANZ region. The role collaborates with sales leadership to qualify opportunities, support bids, and ensure governance processes are followed.

The position requires a track record in finance/analytical roles within a technology organisation, strong Excel and modelling skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguous environments while driving data-driven decisions. Based in Sydney, Australia.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent formal education.
• A minimum of 7 years in analysis, pricing and/or financial modelling experience in a similar role.
• Experience preparing business cases and total cost of ownership models.
• Experience in supporting and being involved in complex business decisions.
• Previously worked in a technology organisation.
• Ability to work independently in an unstructured and high pace environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Governance: design and implement governance for opportunities in the Region and execute against it.
• Opportunity Management: review major opportunities in the Region’s pipeline and ensure qualification by the Sales team.
• Pricing and Deal Structuring: provide input into contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
• Business Planning & Analysis: support ANZ region forecasting and drive standardised tools and cadences.
