Job summary

South Gippsland Water is seeking a Manager Risk and Resilience to lead enterprise risk management and coordinate assurance, internal audits and governance reporting. The role drives emergency management, business continuity planning and organisational readiness across all sites.

The successful candidate will manage complex programs with multiple contributors, engage stakeholders, and promote risk-aware decision making at senior levels. Flexible work options are available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise risk management and strategic advice.
• Experience coordinating assurance and internal audit programs.
• Experience in emergency management and business continuity planning.
• Ability to lead long-running, multi-contributor programs with deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and formal reporting to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk management across the organisation and integrate risk into planning.
• Coordinate assurance and internal audit programs and governance reporting.
• Develop and test business continuity plans and improvement actions.
• Lead annual programs such as regulatory assurance cycles and preparedness.
• Engage with Board, executives and external audiences to provide guidance.
