Qualifications

• 8-10+ years' experience in risk and compliance roles.
• Deep knowledge of ASIC, Corporations Act, AML/CTF, Privacy Act.
• Experience in Australian financial services, with lending exposure.
• Experience uplifting risk maturity in fast-moving environments.
• Strong analytical judgment and stakeholder influence.
• Background in financial crime or fraud investigation.
• Experience reporting to senior leadership or boards.

Responsibilities

• Drive ongoing enhancement of enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.
• Oversee risk activities across operations, technology, cyber, and third parties.
• Lead risk-based compliance monitoring and assurance programs.
• Provide independent challenge on new initiatives, product changes, and business processes.
• Manage regulatory obligations and AML/CTF controls and regulatory engagement.
• Prepare reporting for senior management, committees, and the Board.
• Champion a strong risk and compliance culture through training and stakeholder engagement.
