Job summary

The Star Entertainment Group in Sydney is seeking an Analyst, Corporate Risk Advisory & Controls to support compliance with financial crime regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will assess risk across corporate functions, perform control testing, and partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk management and remediation outcomes.

You will provide insights for management and governance forums, maintain records in the Group's GRC system, and contribute to a safe and ethical business

Qualifications

• Experience in Risk, Compliance, Assurance or Controls Testing.
• Understanding of risk and control gaps and remediation guidance.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, with risk assessment experience.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication across business.
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Auditing, Risk, Law, Economics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk and control assessments across Corporate functions to identify, evaluate and mitigate risks.
• Execute control testing and walkthroughs to assess design and operating effectiveness.
• Partner with stakeholders to strengthen risk management and drive remediation.
• Provide risk and compliance guidance on regulatory changes and obligations.
• Support incident, issue and action management, including root cause analysis.
• Prepare risk and compliance reporting and insights for governance forums.
