Job summary

Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) is seeking a Risk Analytics & Modelling Manager to drive data-driven decision making in credit and residual value risk. You will develop scorecards, monitor risk policies, and partner with IT to ensure robust data for dashboards and reporting.

Ideal candidates have strong data skills, experience in risk analytics, and a proactive mindset with excellent stakeholder management. Hybrid work environment and competitive base salary with bonus structure offered.

Qualifications

• Strong data and analytical skills with a proactive mindset.
• Experience with Python or R and SQL is desirable, with application to risk analytics.
• Knowledge of credit risk, portfolio analytics, IFRS 9 and ECL is advantageous.
• Experience in financial services or risk analytics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and enhance risk scorecards, rules and automated decisioning strategies.
• Forecast and monitor vehicle residual value settings and forecasting.
• Monitor credit and residual value portfolio performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Support pricing through updates to expected credit loss and residual value models.
• Prepare monthly risk dashboards and portfolio analytics for senior management.
• Liaise with IT to ensure data provision for core systems and risk databases.
• Support Risk Control Committee reporting and governance activities.
