Job summary

Australiansuper Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Group Risk and Retail Protections Manager to lead the risk and protection program across a large retailer. You will partner with the executive team to reduce retail loss, strengthen controls and embed practical risk management across the business.

You will lead a specialist team, drive data-driven insights, and collaborate with Property, Operations and Finance to improve resilience and continuity.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in retail risk and asset protection.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with data to influence decisions.
• Strong leadership of specialist teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the risk and retail protection function across a large retail network.
• Drive initiatives to reduce shrink, theft, fraud and total retail loss.
• Strengthen governance and accountability for risk across the business.
• Lead enterprise risk management, business continuity and crisis prep.
• Collaborate with Property, Operations, Finance and Safety to improve physical security.
• Use data and analytics to identify trends, improve reporting and support better business decisions.
• Present risk and performance reports to Executive, Board and Audit & Risk Committees.
• Build a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability and commercial risk management.
