Qualifications

• Senior academic leader responsible for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences research portfolio and for achieving the strategic and operational objectives in research.
• Doctoral qualification in a FASS discipline and an excellent track record in research and research funding.
• Proven record in research leadership at scale with implementation of research strategy and performance uplift.
• Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance will be provided if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee research centres, research infrastructure and performance.
• Strengthen research capability, support career development and champion responsible research practices.
• Build relationships across the University, industry, government, community and global partners for funding and collaboration.
