Job summary

Equity Trustees seeks a Relationship Manager, Energy Infrastructure Projects to join its Corporate Trustee Services team in Melbourne. You will support two government energy infrastructure trustee appointments and collaborate with government agencies, legal advisers, boards and finance teams to ensure compliance and outstanding client service.

This senior role offers exposure to major infrastructure programs and the chance to develop specialist expertise within trustee services and government

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience in financial services.
• Experience in funds management or trustee services.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of specialised government energy infrastructure trustee appointments.
• Assist with day-to-day operational activities, including payments, reimbursements, budgeting processes, client reporting and audit requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for execution and ensure appropriate authorisations are obtained.
• Assist with the negotiation and administration of legal and transactional documentation.
• Provide ongoing reporting and communication to clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, boards, finance teams, company secretariat teams and government bodies.
• Ensure client instructions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Support the safekeeping and administration of assets and critical documentation.
• Contribute to project work, special initiatives and client requests as required.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, internal control testing and regulatory obligations.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while delivering exceptional client service.
