Job summary

Equity Trustees is seeking a Relationship Manager, Charitable Trusts to join our Philanthropy & Community Trustee Services team. You will manage a portfolio of charitable trusts, working with co-trustees, advisory boards and internal specialists to deliver governance, investment oversight and philanthropic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in client relationship and stakeholder management within financial services or social sector.
• Ability to engage, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of investment markets, managed funds and portfolio construction.
• Experience preparing cashflow forecasts and reviewing performance reports and investment documentation.
• Excellent written communication, analytical and organisational skills.
• A collaborative approach and continuous improvement mindset.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications; RG146 is advantageous.
• Experience in charitable trusts, philanthropy, law, finance or social impact is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of charitable trusts, ensuring trustee obligations and objectives are delivered.
• Build and maintain relationships with co-trustees, advisory panels and investment managers.
• Coordinate governance activities, trustee meetings, reporting and secretariat functions.
• Oversee trust administration, cashflow forecasting and investment review processes.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes and improvement initiatives.
• Represent Equity Trustees at client meetings and industry events in the philanthropic community.
• Support grants and charitable distributions in line with governance requirements.
