Equity Trustees Ltd is seeking a Relationship Manager for Energy Infrastructure Projects to support two government energy infrastructure appointments within Corporate Trustee Services. You will collaborate with government agencies, legal advisers, boards and finance teams to ensure compliant, timely client service.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in financial services, strong relationship-building skills, and a client-focused, proactive approach, with formal qualifications in business,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience within financial services, funds management, trustee services or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of specialised government energy infrastructure trustee appointments.
• Assist with day-to-day operational activities, including payments, reimbursements, budgeting processes, client reporting and audit requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for execution and ensure appropriate authorisations are obtained.
• Assist with the negotiation and administration of legal and transactional documentation.
• Provide ongoing reporting and communication to clients and stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, boards, finance teams and government bodies.
• Ensure client instructions are processed accurately and in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Support the safekeeping and administration of assets and critical documentation.
• Contribute to project work, special initiatives and client requests as required.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, internal control testing and regulatory obligations.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while delivering exceptional client service.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• At least five years' experience in financial services.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
• A client-focused approach with the ability to work proactively and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to learn new areas of the business.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law.
