Brightwater seeks an experienced Manager Safety, Quality & Policy to lead our quality management systems, policy governance and continuous improvement across aged care, disability and community services.

Reporting to the General Manager, this strategic, hands-on role translates complex legislation into practical systems, drives accreditation readiness and strengthens governance to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in health, quality, governance, policy, risk or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in quality, compliance, governance, audit, accreditation and policy within regulated health, aged care, disability or community services.
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and governance frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Manage the implementation, monitoring and improvement of Brightwater's quality management systems across all service streams.
• Support compliance with the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop, review and maintain organisational policies, procedures and governance documents.
• Oversee internal audit program and monitor corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement using recognised methodologies.
• Analyse quality and compliance data to identify trends and risks.
• Provide expert advice on quality, compliance, governance and policy matters.
• Partner with leaders to strengthen accountability for quality outcomes.
• Mentor and develop Quality Improvement Officers and Policy Officers.
• Contribute to planning, governance and strategic improvements.
