Furphy Engineering in Shepparton VIC is seeking an experienced Purchasing/Procurement Officer to join the Operations team. You will raise POs, support logistics, and maintain documentation while ensuring supplier performance and quality standards are met.

Essential experience includes ERP usage, MS Office, strong organization, and negotiation skills. Desirable: manufacturing context, ISO9001 knowledge, and SCM qualification. Salary range AUD 85,000–100,000 per year.

Formación

• Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Experience using ERP and purchasing systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and market research skills.
• Understanding of quality standards and incoming goods inspection.

Responsabilidades

• Raise and manage purchase orders to support production requirements.
• Support supply chain logistics and inbound materials.
• Maintain accurate document control and records.
• Identify discrepancies and escalat(e)e or resolve issues.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Assist with inventory control, stock takes, and cost tracking.
• Support contract administration and procurement documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
