Job summary

Bidfood Bundaberg is seeking a Purchasing Officer to manage stock levels, place orders and source new products. You’ll work with sales reps, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure pricing data is accurate.

Ideal candidates are organised, proactive, and comfortable with numbers and systems. A Police Clearance from QLD is essential; previous purchasing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous purchasing experience preferred.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable with numbers and systems.
• Clear communicator and team player.
• QLD Police Clearance Certificate (essential).
• Experience in stock-focused or fast-paced environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and place orders to keep inventory flowing.
• Work with sales reps to source new products and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory and generate reports.
• Process purchase orders and stock transfers.
• Apply supplier deals and promotional pricing.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate product and pricing data.
• Support admin tasks and branch operations.
• Represent Bidfood with a professional, solutions-focused approach.
