Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead the implementation, delivery, and reporting for a Commonwealth Federation Funding Agreement within Queensland's public sector.

You will provide high-level advice to executive leadership and stakeholders, oversee policy research, drive project outcomes within tight timeframes, and shape the state’s building and development landscape while coordinating Cabinet, Parliamentary, and legislative matters.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Projects expertise and scheduling skills.
• Advanced written communication to author Cabinet submissions and ministerial documents.
• Ability to synthesize trends into strategic leadership advice.
• Interpret and reform policy affecting built environment and construction.
• Hands-on management of budgets, resources, timelines, and outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with internal and external partners.
• Familiarity with building standards and housing/construction policy.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of implementation, delivery, and reporting for a new Commonwealth Federation Funding Agreement.
• Lead Cabinet, Parliamentary, and legislative matters and provide high-level advisory support.
• Oversee policy research and drive project outcomes within tight timeframes.
• Shape Queensland's building and development landscape through strategic guidance.
• Coordinate with executive leadership and external stakeholders to ensure value-for-money outcomes.
