Job summary

Coles Group is seeking a Capital Transactions Manager to identify, assess and secure strategic property opportunities across Victoria. This Melbourne-based role involves office, inspections and meetings with potential sellers, operating in a collaborative, commercially focused environment where no two days are the same.

You will join a team managing a vast portfolio of retail outlets and work across Property, Development, Legal and Finance to progress deals and deliver strong commercial

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience across property acquisitions, capital transactions, development or valuation.
• End-to-end acquisitions experience.
• Strong commercial judgement and understanding of valuations, feasibility and financial drivers.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capability.
• Knowledge of development, planning and approval processes.
• Retail property experience would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Source and secure financially viable strategic property acquisition opportunities.
• Manage acquisitions through the end-to-end process working closely with the development and other internal teams.
• Assess valuations, feasibility, commercial risk and investment opportunities.
• Negotiate with developers, landowners and other external parties.
• Develop acquisition strategies and recommendations supported by sound commercial analysis.
• Partner across Property, Development, Legal and Finance to progress deals and deliver strong commercial outcomes.
