Job summary

Bank Australia is seeking a strategically-minded and energetic Project Manager for a 12-month period to support a large-scale data migration initiative and core banking system integration. The role will lead project teams, manage risks, and report on benefits realization while coordinating with business leaders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

The position allows base in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with travel between locations and relocation where needed.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a related field.
6–9 years of accumulated experience in a similar role.
Experience with large strategic initiatives.
Experience in data migration or core banking projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Project manage assigned strategic activity and own other work end-to-end to achieve timely outcomes and KPIs.
Earn and maintain a reputation for being a trusted partner in program and project management.
Provide early warning of emerging risks or issues threatening the Critical Path, budget, benefit case or scope/quality.
Design, implement and embed metrics for measuring success in realising benefits and adoption of delivered outcomes.
